203 (Welsh) Field Hospital (Volunteers) is part of the Territorial Army's Medical Services (AMSTA) and provides vital medical support for the Regular Army. Field Hospitals are designed to deploy into the field either under canvas or in disused buildings. They are fully staffed and equipped to provide the highest standards of care and treatment for soldiers injured whilst on military operations.
203 (Welsh) Field Hospital (Volunteers) has three surgical teams (2 general and 1 orthopaedic). We also have x-ray, pathology, physiotherapy and pharmacy departments to create an integrated medical facility. The Field Hospital can be packed, moved and then set up again if the situation demands.
